omg about a month ago I tried 2 days of breakfast juicing. on the second day I was shopping out of town and I totally lost my balance in the grocery store. My head started going sideways. Felt like I had drank 12 beers in an hour. Had to clear my bladder, rest it out, and drink a bunch of water before I could drive home. The next day I kept having to go pee.. It seemed like every 15 minutes I had to go..so I got paranoid and went in for a quick urine test, got the result back the same day..nothing peculiar. So I asked my nutrionist/holistic vietnamese lady who runs this awesome health store, and she said a quarter cup would have been a good start. I did 2 cups on both days. She said that's way too much especially for someone already dealing with recovery. She mentioned that if you're not using organic veggies it's even worse because of the pesticides.
I think juicing is good in small amounts and with all organic veggies. That's the only way I'll be trying it again.
Even if it as so powerful that I was having some sorta detox..I don't think that's the right approach for me. I honestly couldn't drive because everytime I'd be looking in one direction like down, then suddenly lift my head up, it felt like everything was diagonal. I really can't be dealing with that.
