No doubt a great diet helps to support the body's natural detox functions; however it is not always enough.

This is a really dreadful story from the type of person you describe.

Her use of "natural" things, in this case, cilantro, probably poisoned her child. It probably enabled Hg to get across the placenta in a way that is similar to how it apparently moves Hg across the blood brain barrier--in both directions! I commented in some length to her post.

That story is a reminder about kicking up Hg from some location where it is not doing much damage and having it settle in a different location that is very vulnerable to it and which holds onto it very tightly, ie hormone receptors related to the stress response system.
