This is what my sister emailed to me that semed to iritate me that day a week ago or so :
The thing of it is, you are not a mechanic. You were in over your head and shouldn't have been tinkering with it. You are great at keeping things looking good, but you are no mechanic. Just like I am not mechanically inclined. It's OK to have it fixed at the garage. Paying $200.00 to have it fixed does not make it worth $200.00 more. It only makes it run good again.

I now realize that she meant well. The last part of it is saying, more or less, that it's OK if I choose to take the bike to the shop once in a while. She's known or saying things that sound unexpected and out of touch, and I can't say if this was a pre programmed message or not. Had I felt better I would have reacted differently. I would have just let it digest for a while, but this time I forgot to wait for it to digest.
I need to believe in her/him though, because without his help, I probably would not be eating organic foods, I'd be eating food stamp bought saltine crackers and Ramen noodle soup.
