Re: This nearly killed me--really
I couldn't agree more. I followed the flush to the letter (I'm a nurse and understand how important that is).
I got soooo incredibly sick, I thought I was going to have to rush over to the ER! My body had a violent reaction to consuming that amount of oil at once. The reaction didn't happen right away..it took about 4 hours. Literally, I woke up to sweats, chills, my heart racing, massive diarrhea, and nonstop vomitting for 1 hour (there was virtually nothing in my stomach, yet the urge continued). My body was doing everything it could to expel what I put in. It was a true food poisoning reaction. Like the above writer, for a moment, I felt like I had just done something really really wrong to my body and was dying!
I'm am an extremely healthy person, normally. I only did the liver cleanse because some friends stated that everyone has
liver stones , and that there was many "natural" remedies to get rid of them...I was thinking "prevention."
This happened about a year ago...I just saw this forum today, so I thought I'd share. Since that time, I have researched more about the components of liver flushes, specifically the chemistry. What I found was really interesting (at least to me). There's the very real possibility that the "stones" we get from the flush are actually caused by the process of the flush, itself. The combination of acids (from the oil), salts, and juice when mixed with other electrolytes in the bowel produce calculi (stones). The reason why most are green is because the gall bladder, foreced into overdrive by the oil, secretes massive amounts of bile into the gut (hence we get green stones). I've seen tons of pics of stones floating in toilet water (yuk! i know). But, REAL GALL STONES SINK.
... It's just something to consider. If you're doing 25
Liver Flushes and STILL getting stones, you may want to question what's really creating them.
