Hey Bri, Yes, Doxycycline is available in the USA; and it is indeed suggested by the CDD; they sent me the paper work;

This is what I would suggest; you can either take it while you are on the first drug therapy; or if the first drug therapy does not work, take the second line and doxycycline. It is taken twice, like Nitz./alinia. You do not take it with second meal; and it is only 50mg.

Also, please be sure to post your your daily results with the first therapy and mention the drugs for the sake of others. I wish you luck with this, even though I opted to take the second line therapy. WHich I will do soon. I cannot wait to see if I will be one of the lucky ones.
