Re: Taking the Triple Drug Therapy for Blastocystis

From how I understand it the blasto hide deep in the intestines hidden behind the stool and mucous. By doing the enema you get rid of their hiding spot therefore exposing them to the full force of the meds.
Basically it helps the meds to work better.

I did the enema on day 2 of the triple drug treatment. I feel it helped 'Very' much. Because around day 5 I felt so much better regarding blasto symptoms.

I had planned to take them for 12 days. To be sure they were gone. However I could only last 11 days. The nausea was under control by diet as I mentioned earlier but what got me was 'Extreme' muscle fatique. It started gradually on day 8 but hit hard worse and worse with each dose on day 11. It got the point I needed to stop. I feel I did good making it to at least 10.

I've now been off the triple therapy for 24 hours. I have the muscle fatique really bad still. Simple things like folding clothes is hard. Other than that I feel great. I still have some forgetfulness I had that with blasto bad. But my rashes, joint pain, headaches, constipation, ect is gone. My husband even made the comment I'm not so pale.

I do realize it's too early to tell but I'm hopeful. The meds were difficult but again eating well before really helps and watching the clock every 8 hours was difficult.

But for me it was worth it.

I will be updating often. :)
