I have been wondering about the copper - so much reading only to be uncertain in the end! I think I keep finding it said that zinc needs copper to work?
I have been taking 50 mg.Zinc/2.5 mg chelated Copper for less than 2 weeks - could not find it O/T at less mg. Switched out Mag.Citrate for Malate at the same time, taking 1/2 teasp. at bedtime, but I may need to leave out of my daily water bottle? I don't know what is doing what at this point. Maybe a pill cutter is in order? 50 mg.zinc too much to take alone?
I have considered independent labs. Would like to know if all my work has helped RBC's. There was a second blood draw back then to to see if sublingual B-12/folate was doing the job - injections were discussed, but I am not keen on skin punctures if not necessary. They have stuck me enough. I have a fat file with them from early years of asthma, allergies, migraines. (In some weird way it is almost like prior allergy stuff changed it's face - instead of showing in lungs it is hanging out in my skin - haven't used inhaler /nebulizer for 10 years! Maybe it is ALBUTERAL coming out my pores, making me itch!!!??? lol)
That follow-up three months later showed RBCs were even worse, but I did not yet 'get' that ALL the B's needed to be on board, and of course THEY don't seem to either. Since those days I have been working with good B -complex, add methyl B-12 randomly, enjoyed increasing energy, so this recent sleeeepy was startling.
Thank you just thinking! I do okay with supps. for the most part, but sometimes it really helps to work things out with someone else.
