The redness of the skin is an erythema, caused by an allergic reaction to the products made by Malassezia (azelaic acid) this becomes worst on people with sticky blood (adults) child is another thing because they still don't have antibodies to candida and get contact with candida on vaginal walls when coming out of female body.
I work with darkfield microscopy and we can see stacks of red blood cells like a series of coins on stressed, depressed, and SD sufferers also on vitiligo sufferes and Lupus patients.
Anyway some people get a strong and heavy allergic erythematous reaction against sodium bicarbonate (baking soda. But this is only on the first 30 days maximum and we dont know exactly why but seems that once the skin becomes alkaline the yests die and stop making allergic substances to make skin red and flaky (azelaic acid). We don't understand also why SD sufferers haver a dry skin instead a lot of oil, one theory is that Malassezia produces azelaic acid to induce skin to behave erratically. If you look at black people who haves SD you see that the skin is black on normal areas but is becoming white on SD areas because of azelaic acid converting melanin.
Pityrosporum ovale (Malassezia) is a yeast found on all human beings but on SD sufferers it becomes sistemic and aggresive, in my opinion because SD sufferes are people who have a not really skilled immunitary system. And again blood terrain plays an important role here, and dirty blood full of fibrin, debris, rbc stacked, white cells dormant gives an SD sufferer an extra concern.
I remember and still today is the same if I don't have money I get worst SD. If i have a stress situation SD comes back, if I have sex with many orgasms SD again becomes worst. We SD sufferes are unbalanced people regarding our terrain.
Any concern and whe open doors to SD again and I think we will not find a cure for so easy because is inside us the problem and there is a lot of factors playing the game the only thing we can do is control the infestation by artificial means because we cannot trust our defense sistem.
