Re: baking soda and coconut oil advice (will post results)
Its sounds like the baking soda is burning your skin. i would no longer use it on your face anymore. the fact that your skin is more red and damaged
is a sign that the baking soda is to strong for your skin. As i said in my earlier post i would never put something that powerful on my face.
As for the coconut oil i found that ozonated coconut oil works better then normal oil because its more potent in its ability to heal. Something to do with the ozone process enhances the oils healing properties.
The way i keep my sd under control very nicely is to wash your face with nothing but a very mild non alcohol cleanser, something soothing like nivea sensitive face wash for men, then once you get out shower let your skin air dry but do not rub it with a towel or even pat it, just let it dry natrually. most towels carry lots of bacteria on them so you don't want that on your face. once your face is completly dry get a bit of oil about the size of a pea, i use a little glass container and let it sit into some warm water so it melts then with your fingers dip it into the melted oil and gently apply it to all your face. Now you might feel all the dry little bit of skin on your skin as your put the oil on your skin and as you slowly massage the oil over your face you will feel the oil removing all the flakes and crustyness.
oil is the best for cleaning the skin because it can penetrate deep into the pores. once you've applied the oil and removed the dead skin just leave your skin. Now the best time to do this is always before you go to bed because your face will be left a bit red and greasy looking but in the morning splash your face a few times with warm water but not to hot and let it rinse some of the oil away, your skin might still be a little red from the oil but it will settle. try this for a few days and it should even out your skin tone and it will defo make it smoother and softer looking. Good Luck and i hope it helps.
