MEAT...this is so odd??

I had a strange thing happen to me tonight. One of my biggest issues is when I have flare ups of pain in my gallbladder/liver region. It is ongoing & painful & causes some sort of gastric pain that I can't even describe. Nothing helps it at all. I feel as tho I am starving yet when I eat I also feel as tho my stomach is not emptying or digesting. My whole liver hurts front ot back. I think it stems from liver congestion. Plus i do have the endometrial cyst on my liver. But anyhow....I have been vegetarian for so many years I don't even know when I actually started. I have been happily vegetarian as I am not overly *wowed* by meat & LOVE carbs. It has been a tough road denying the carbs (bread) as well as meat, dairy, and everything else deemed bad. Tonight I was watching a sitcom in which there was a guy eating a hotdog. As soon as he started eating the hotdog I felt consumed by hunger. Like I could almost taste it with him. I wanted to eat it soooo bad. I remembered we had leftover steak in the fridge from a meal I made my husband. I figured what the hell, everything esle makes me sick why not try it. So I ate some. It wasn't too bad. And it actually felt like I needed it. It felt as tho it filled that starvation spot in my belly & took a little of the pain away tho far from any major pain relief. YOU all say to listen to our bodies & that is half why I even ate some of it. What do you think? I am about as confused as they come as far as what to eat anymore. I do know the meat would have to be organic if I were to even consume any on a regular basis. But everywhere I read about health & liver issues and such, all point to vegetarianism????????????
