Re: If You Could Only Take One Supplement, Which One Would You Choose?
Diana, I have an old bottle that I dug out of my linen closet and on it the recommendations are to take 1 capsule two to three times a day. The capsules are 400mg. I've seen it around in the grocery stores so it doesn't seem that hard to find. I also read the customer reviews on Iherb.com and they sounded encouraging and the bottles seemed relatively inexpensive (compared to some supps).
Once upon a time (years ago) I tried progesterone cream and it seemed like the answer to everything. I had energy and my body temp was warm, but I quit taking it. Since then I've tried it again and it just makes me feel awful. I don't know if it's because it is made with soy - or what the reason is. I've tried many different brands and they are all just junk because they make me feel so bad.
But maybe Vitex will help. This time I am willing to be patient and give it a good chance to see if it helps. I keep fantasizing that someday I will find one supplement that helps me so much I won't need anything else and I can quit keeping notebooks and documenting everything I take and how it makes me feel.
You are right it, is a lot of work and I just want to feel carefree again. Is that possible for a 41 yr old mother of 5?
