You are correct 13, when a political viewpoint is attacked, it isn't personal, but when the person themselves is attacked, (and this is what happens), it is personal.

I have no problem with people who disagree with my viewpoint, many have, but the discussion remains civil. This however, is not what is happening on the politics debate forum.

There is not a lot of discussion on the debate forum, because many people, who would post if it was more civil, do not, so what you see is just the same posters agreeing with each other, or attacking others.

A political discussion forum, would hurt no-one, those that wanted to post in the debate forum could still do so, and those that wanted to post in a civil forum, could also do so.

At the moment posters who want civil discussion about politics have nowhere to post, except off topic in other Support Forums .

I don't understand why some people have such a problem with there being a political discussion forum, CZ is big enough and diverse enough, to be able to support this forum, with no detriment to any other forum.
