Oh that's true, Spud and Chaz were talking in Conspiracy, not Politics. Don't see why they couldn't do the same in Politics though.

I do think that some people are taking different political viewpoints waaaay too personally.

Spud, it's not true that there's no discussion in Politics. When your point of view is attacked, it's not an attack on you personally.

Sadly, it seems that Curezone is becoming a place where there are teams of people, for and against each other. RyanJ has lots of civil conversations s with people he likes, as do you, Spud.

I just took another look at Politics and see lots of discussions happening. A recent thread there has 31 posts.

And even when there isn't discussion, I enjoy seeing the posts and reading them. Often, they speak for themselves. It's kind of like reading "alternative news". I like InCharge's posts, he always finds things I'd never see otherwise. I don't always agree, but it makes me think.

What stops the discussion is when people start making and responding to attacks and the posts get deleted. From what I've seen, that has happened to many posters over there, as there are strong feelings and people often react inappropriately.

It will always be that way with politics and religion, IMO. Tweet
