Re: Anyone tried acupuncture ?
“For pain and related issues it is best to use electro-acupuncture device such as a scenar device at home easily.”
I’ve read a lot in the past about Scenar devices. A Google search gives me nothing less than 576.000 results! This shows how aggressive they are marketing a product that also offers multiple models to please everyone. Sometimes, I suspect they have more sellers worldwide than actual clients…
They often refer it requires specialized training… but in any part is it described as an electro-acupuncture device.
“No needles, no pain…”
I own a similar model “Denas/Diadens - created on basis of the apparatus SCENAR - 032 – PROTON”. My model, the DiaDENS-PC can also diagnose meridians and biological points on the whole body, including auricles. This extra is intended for professionals, not for the regular home consumer.
I bought the Denas device to help with my wife’s Ankylosing spondylitis - a form of
Arthritis that primarily affects the spine. It causes inflammation of the spinal joints and can also cause inflammation, pain and stiffness in other areas of the body.
I tried to use the device on her. Yet, due to the inflammation (the precaution also applies to the use of moxa in TCM) the resulting pain was so intense that I gave up of this “biofeedback” methodology.
She’s cured now, but no credit to this device.
Having said that, I have no problem to admit that Scenar and Denas devices may work fine for several conditions… but never to the extent that is so copiously publicized.
