If I may give you some little advices...
Run away if your practitionner uses more than 10 needles.
Run away if he does not stay with you during the treatment.
Run away if he is a GP who has made some acupunture lessons (usually 2 or 3 week-ends are enough to give them the right to practice and earn money.)
The real practitionners are using only a few needles, are touching your pulse on the two arms and inspect the tongue.
Feeling the pulses requires years of practicing, because of the many different ones.
That's also why acupuncture has a bad press, or does not work. Because real practitionners, trained in china or by a chinese master during 3 or more years, and with more years of experience are able to use the technique like it has to be used. The way you stick the needle is also important for the result.
