One thing is for sure is that there needs to be proper dialogue and the scientific community needs to be involved. it also needs to dovetail with proper sex education and perhaps media needs to be involved with their role of advertising sexuality to children under a certain age. This is a big issue and it has many angles to it.

Religion needs to stay the hell out of this debate, that is until they can prove their own claims about invisible gods etc.

Also big industry needs to stay far out of this (special interests) or we will see Monsanto messing with genes in order to do weird things as some faux solution that will actually spin off new problems.

So no opportunists for profit or strange unprovable agendas.
