Re: Why are we speachless?

lol I never said anyone is hopeless Beej, not anymore than you have. You will tell someone it is hopeless if they don't come to Christ, and you'll even add to that.
I will tell someone it is hopeless if they don't turn to Christ.

The difference is, you leave the hope in the power of man. I leave the hope in the power of God.

Look at the state of the world. You really think the hope lies with people all the sudden changing their minds just because they hear someone tell them they should? What about people buried deep in the false religions? You think the hope lies with them just realizing they are in a false religion all the sudden on their own, or because someone said it to them. I've been involved in deep deception before. It's pretty hopeless for people to get out of that, unless, God does it.

I heard a father put it this way one time. He was a christian who believes like me. His son wanted nothing to do with Christianity. The father said, knowing his son, he would have no comfort if he thought it was up to his son to change his heart and mind. But knowing God can do the impossible, and that he was praying for God to change his son's heart and mind, he had all the hope in the world.

Don't put your confidence in man. Put it in God.

And believe what the scriptures say: God is perfectly just to have mercy in whom he desires, and leave the others to justice. That is what it says. I didn't write it.

And by the way, a large portion of christians believe like me, and this was once considered completely right and normal to believe among most christians in history. Much deception has entered chrisianity in the past five hundred years, and tried to make it about man, giving the glory to man, instead of God.
