Day 18 of 40. First cleanse ever. Am having a hard time for the first time in 18 days, don't want to give up.

I'm on Day 18 of (hopefully) 40 days. I've been very lucky to have a pretty easy time of things. I hadn't actually planned to go on the cleanse, but had had the flu and decided "what the heck, I've got the detoxifying symptoms anyway, and all of the ingredients, I may as well try it." So less than 24 hours later, my flu had completely disappeared (this was fever, chills, cough, lethargy, not just a cold)! That alone kept me motivated to keep going. I'd have to say that the most difficult thing so far was the really bad leg cramps I had from days 3 - 6 or 7. I kept with it, my energy has been great! I used to think I'd pass out without protein, clearly not so! Many people who know me are so inspired by my energy (not to mention the weight loss) that they want to learn more!

Today has been a real struggle for me, however...I realize that I'm fortunate to have gotten to 18 days as easily as I have, but I'd like to go 40 and I'm feeling hungry (have consumed lots of the lemonade today), and just missing flavours today. I'm not even craving things like I have been so far i.e. "Yay, I can't wait to try a piece of broccoli w sesame seeds" it's been "I need meat. I want peanut butter. I miss crackers. I would like salsa." I'm feeling a bit discouraged and am not sure what to do. I have, however, decided to not make any decisions about this until end of day tomorrow, to make sure that I'm just not doing this because of possible p.m.s/emotions. I'm not feeling faint/in physical pain or anything, I just don't think I can continue the cleanse if I'm going to be feeling like this for the remaining 22 days...

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
