I would agree as well, but I think mira is confusing respect with something altogether different, something much broader and/or basic like simply agreeing with something that somebody wrote.
I think respect IS something you earn. Much of that respect is based on how you feel about that persons opinion, or their actions/reactions.
Mira, along with others here, accused me of being a shill or working for BP right off the bat simply because I questioned some of the ridiculous claims on this forum.
Instead of engaging in a normal conversation and trying to find out the basis for my opinion, mira immediately took a defensive role which appeared to be based on popular opinion.
This immediately caused me to lose much respect for mira and others.
I still read what they write, but reading their opinions, and RESPECTING their opinions, because of how they've portrayed themselves to me, are two VERY different things.
