Re: Good Calories Bad Calories

this does not surprise me Molly, eating high fat and low carb is really helthy, I discovered this diet because of candidiasis and chronic viruses. Many people heal their skin/digestive/chronic issues when eating that way, especially if the food is of high quality, preferrably organic.
Virgin and cold pressed coconut oil is said to be really good for weight loss and is a natural anti-fungals, adding 1-3 TBS daily can really make a difference.

I have to cut out Sugar completely with candidiasis and some even say we need to cut out fruits and complex carbs too. Some days, I do, and others I eat a bit of buckwheat or rice or spelt bread or fruits and you're definitely right, carbs are extremely addictive, even complex carbs because when you have insulin/glycemia issues, your pancreas "sees" complex carbs like plain sugars. I basically have to cut out all carbs from my diet but I dont want to because I love to eat. And every time I buy buckwheat crackers or spelt bread or whatever, I swear I'll only eat a small portion but then I can't stop myself and end up eating too much of it. I think it's hard to have good sense when it comes to carbs, especially if you have unstable glycemia.

Some diets advises to cut out all kind sof sugars for two weeks, allowing like two TBS of rice/quinoa/millet a day and this should stop the need for a sweet taste. Not easy!
Keep up the goos work!

I had lost so much weight eating that way but gaine dit all back and more because I cheated a lot and basically emptied boxes of biscuits and whole breads with choolate pasta, it's a shame really! now i'm back on track, I hope I'll lost some weight before the summer!
