Re: Some good information on religious fundamentalism

To be tangible, the character of god would need to exist outside of the imagination, in physical form, where it could be touched, examined, measured, it does not. (At least not to me, you may feel differently).

You obviously believe your own truth, and it is just as obvious that others don't share your truth. This is just the way it is. It is individual perception that decides what is true.

If evidence is discovered to back a claim of truth, and it is accepted, what was once thought to be true may change, if you don't accept the evidence then for you it wont change. The change does not mean that the former truth becomes a lie, it just means it has changed. I don't see things in terms of truth and lies, its all just information that, as and individual, I accept or not.

You can be of the opinion that what I say is not true, and for you it may well be, I don't have any particular emotional attachment to the information I express, so your disagreement is just that, a disagreement with the information that I share. Your disagreement to my information is an example of liquid truth. What is true for you, is not necessarily true for me.
