Re: Some good information on religious fundamentalism

I think it is important to question all belief systems, but particularly those, such as fundamentalist religions, political ideologies etc, any group that claims to know the 'truth' and that believe their brand of 'truth' is the only correct version, actively discourages questioning, or uses personal attack as a means of defending their beliefs.

Science is the questioning and testing of theories, so to say there is 'fundamentalist science' is an illogical statement.

This is another view of fundamentalism in modern society.

This is obviously an opinion of the author, so pointing out that this is opinion is stating the obvious and unnecessary. It is an interesting opinion none the less.
