Re: Water Quality...

"Let's see your post where you asked about this."
I never did :)
It was four years ago, and I had just read about Water Fasting somewhere. I'm sure it was a pretty reliable source, but perhaps it was from a source not designed to cover Water Fasting fully.

"Fasting often can re-establish our desires for healthy foods"
"Fasting frequently", or as in "fasting in most cases can"?
In any case, I'm also of that opinion.
And more people should use it for starting a more healthy life thereafter.
But there are so many who just jump into it and fail.
And that is what is the real pity.

"They do not and this unhealthy path is certainly not what is taught here. Fasting followed by extremely nutritious eating is. Have you actually read through this forum at all?"

"taught here"? where is here? really...
I have been reading this forum on and off, and seen many peoples blogs, and I have encountered many who are doing it for the wrong reason.
Why am I wrong in suggesting that everyone first look into their diet, and eat a raw, natural, organic plant-based diet?
I think you are taking offence because I "attack" your precious water fasting...
And I am not attacking Water Fasting itself. So there's the decisive difference.

"How are you to know who is in need of a water fast?"
My advice was directed at every single one here. It was intended that you either truly question it and roll it around in your mind, or you presume to know what's best for you already.

I myself was never assuming that I could truly change any ones mind that directly.
So my answer to your question is that I never assumed to know who is in need of it. I wouldn't take such responsibility.

The purpose of my message was to make people question things, and look more into their lifestyle outside of a fast.
And NOT to generally question water fasting.

You refer to "nutritious eating" a few times, and I don't find that standard to be anywhere near high enough.
"nutritious eating" is pretty much a subjective standard.
