Re: The myth of chronic acidosis
You certainly know a lot about this. Can you shed some light on the myth of not eating beef. I am only guessing that beef is bad, because of many things, mostly from commercially bred kinds. But I enjoy beef a lot. I recently starting to look into alkaline/acid foods to make your body healthier. Beats me. I wasn't aware of that forever, until recently. I don't even know if there are any truth to all of that balancing stuffs, but it's sure make interesting reading for a novice like me though.
So, are pasture beefs that eat only grass bad for you in general? I hope not, but if it is, I will still eat it because I believe there a lot of animal fats and proteins a body need from beef.
The second question is kombucha? I enjoy it but I notice that my teeth get yellower as I drink it too much, is it a function of the one you mentioned above as "in severe cases can pull minerals from the bones as a buffer against acidity", of course, teeth is bone right? I like to hear your thought on this one.
One other question, may be related is that my 7-mo old daughter who has eczema, and we are trying to treat her naturally. She is getting better, but very slowly. Her contions don't appear to improve linearly. The improve and they worsen, but overall, step in the right directions. But something about her that worries me though, her hands sometimes will be cold. Other parts of her bodies are warm, her feet are warm but her hands, once a while are cold. Is it related to the pH thing? I am trying to find answers so that we can help her by stop doing what we have been doing to at least have her hands the same temperature as her body.
I notice about the pH of alkaline/acid too. For a past few days, I have been eating more alkaline food, and I notice that my hands aren't as cold as before. Could that be the case with my daughter?
I hope to hear from you. Thanks
