Re: Anxiety, Overactive mind, insomnia, pulsating tinnitus

I agree with this post. I have suffered from anxiety for years, what I have found is the medication prescribed only masks the symptoms. I read an article about over coming anxiety, and it said to take 20 minutes out of your day everyday to allow yourself time to worry. Go to a quiet place, let your mind go through the worry, practice DEEP breathing, then center yourself, focus your mind not to worry rather than allowing it to wander. When you feel yourself whelming up, make it a concious thought... that I am not going to allow myself to go through this. Take a few minutes, breath deeply and tell yourself I am going to settle down and refocus. When I allow my mind to wander, the anxiety only builds. I have to make the concise effort to say not right now and take myself to a better place.
I understand how difficult it is dealing with anxiety. We should allow ourselves to worry about things that we can actually control. With my aniexty I worry about things that I CAN NOT control. All I am doing is causing damage to my own body. When I feel an attack coming on I HAVE to recenter myself and tell myself I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE! Make and take the time to be better!!
I don't know if this will help but... that is my expierence, and it is a daily task to deal with and overcome the the horrible feelings of anxiety.
I wish you the best!!
