Christ and a new meaning

I would say that in the instances within the story of Jesus that you are pertaining to that "Jesus" was tapping into infinite potential and in the same vain he was never suggesting he was some kind of intermediary in this regard but that anyone can do it also. All these things you can do and more was the message in that regard. Whether Jesus lived or not is really not important in that we do not need him nor Scooby Doo to save us. ;-)

I highly recommend you read Neville Goddard's interpretation of the Bible as a metaphorical construct and what he says christ alludes to. He says christ is imagination and that the father (god) is infinite potential. We go through the son (christ = imagination) to access the father (god = infininte potential). As you can see this changes things a great deal. Most people take the stories for face value but when you look at things symbolically it goes way beyond the finite fixed ideas that may have been taught to accept.

Gee I wonder which poster Rudy was alluding to in the link you provided? LOL
