"Thousands of years of enlightened ones (Jesus, Buddha, Krishna etc. and all their followers) spreading peace, joy and love (etc.) didn't stop all the PTB from wars, terrorism, destruction (etc.)."
True, but think about it. Was the world ever so close to on "the brink" like it is now? What happened? After the people you just mentioned left here, people did the same thing the people of America have been doing. Being lazy. Trusting others for their existance. (The nanny state) And what happened? TPTB started slowly spreading their tentacles through out the world till we got to where we are now. So no blame can be put on the people you mentioned can it? We allowed it. They showed us, but we trusted others instead.
"How important is our not focusing on the problems, but staying in peace, joy and love?
And how important is our "fighting" (which is focusing on) the PTB, even if it's exposing them through peaceful means?"
I'm responsible for training people about what to do in a fire in large buildings. Do you go into a room engulfed in smoke where you might not come out to save one person, or do you write them off so you can survive to save others? You first save yourself so you can go on to hopefully save many others. This is true in all disasters in large buildings.
It's the same with your questions. If "fighting" to expose the truth to others consumes you, what have you accomplished except consuming yourself? I think everyone in here would agree it's probably too late to stop what's about to happen, so first save yourself, so later on you can help others that are around to help.
So you have to estimate if concentrating on the problem is consuming you. If it is, if your wondering what you've become, if your confused, or worried, then I would stop. First save yourself or what good are you? People will see all these things in you and write you off as crazy, a loser or something.
Like Mr T said, you can never plan for everything. So make general plans that you know you will have to prepare for. Like stocking up on food. But you have to live in the now. If you're well grounded you'll know what to do when the time comes, then do it with every fiber in your body.
So, in my opinion, the greatest asset we can have is being grounded, being spiritually connected, or be intuitive. We are greater beings than this world leads us to believe. And never forget that.
I guess everything I said depends on if you want to see the end of all this, which I do. I don't do it out of fear of death, but to help bring about an end to this. But if it doesn't matter for you to see "the end", then it doesn't matter if you're consumed by the problem and wind up awakening others to the truth. One of the people you awaken could be the one that will lead the downfall to all this. So one never knows which is best. And the greatest thing in my opinion, is still "remember who you are" no matter which path you choose. And like Mr. T said, do it with all your might!
I've been creating a web site lately to empower others and I ran across this video I like. I know it's a cartoon but it hits a few different levels and awakens the heart. At least for me. And it makes you smile and calms the storm. Hope you enjoy.
