Re: Hope someone can help
Absolutely this could have damaged the area. Often, with the wisdom of western medicine, costo is caused by trauma to the rib cage, something like whiplash. When it is caused by trauma it does tend to self correct within 4 months.
I used to be on a Yahoo forum for this (strictly western medicine) and we all agreed that if you have this condition, someone should just put you in a body cast for months so that you don't even twist your torso at all, and allow it to heal.
But those people were desperate, and were going to a zillion doctors and having ribs removed, and cartilege scraped and pain devices inserted in their spines. They were SO sad the day Vioxx was taken off the market...like WTF? That stuff was killing people, but they all said they'd rather take the chance. Many of them were on Vioxx and it's a wonder we didn't lose anyone in that group. And then there were tons of anti-depressants because the Dr.'s didn't know what to do, so they figured it was in their heads....OMG, this was before I found out about natural therapies, and I was actually considering some of this stuff because the pain was so bad.
It was the day that my Dr. told me he was going to remove my gallbladder because he couldn't figure out what else to do. What an ass.
I correct my condition the first time by doing 2
Liver Flushes (I think it relieved me of some long time constipation) and then I left my very very stressful job and stopped bracing. The combination of the two did it. Then when it came back, I found my massage therapist who determined I had pretty damaged muscles around my neck and shoulders pulling everything up and out of alignment.
I hope you just have the temporary trauma costo as opposed to the long term chronic costo. It could be so. But I understand your desire to get rid of the pain, which is debilitating for sure.
