Well, I have been there 5 years ago with my daughter, and I do not remember the psin either, I was so happy with my baby that I did not realize the many things that could have been handled better by the hospital staff until months later.
I handled well my labor pain using breathing and positions learned in the J.Balaskas' book - Active Birth.
The hardest part for me was not labor pain , but the pushing stage. I had a hard time pushing effectively! Here's why I bought the Tupler exercises book. The exercises are supposed to strenghten the abdominal muscles that push the baby out. The book promise is that the baby will be out in a few effective pushes if you follow the program. I am quite disappointed having to discontinue it.
I really hope my costo will solve soon so that I'll be back to exercising in my 3rd trimester.
