Pregnant & I think I have costochondritis

M.Bloom kindly referred me to this forum after i had posted a message about pain under left rib cage.
Since about 3 days I am also experiencing awful pain in my back. The pain feels like a rheumatism and at times it gets so strong I also get nausea . it mainly strikes after meals, even if I am 100% sure digestive organs are not involved.
I can feel it in my right upper back, and when the pain is at its worse also in my chest.
The pain is like a dagger in the left rib cage, it radiates to the arm and sometimes to the spine. If I touch my ribs on the back, I can feel where the pain is located by pressing the last few ribs, they hurt.
It is an awful pain.
Luckily it never lasts more than 10 minutes at a time. the worst pain usually happens in the evening.
Is costochondritis improved by diet? Since I got pregnant I started craving meat with increased appetite and I eat small portions of meat about 4 times a week. I am definitely getting more protein than usual, could this impact negatively my cartilage? Could MSM or chondroitin help my condition?
I have also been doing Tupler exercises for pregnancy in the past month or so. They strengthen the transverse abdominal muscle which goes around tummy and chest like a corset. Could this be the cause? Should I stop doing these exercises? I do not notice flare-ups of pain right after exercising, but I guess exercising nearby muscles could make the inflamed cartilage worse?

Thanks so much
