The school band gig is still going great! My daughter is such a social butterfly; that comes from her father, not me!

My German grandfather was a musician, too. He played the trumpet and violin. I was fortunte enough to get the violin when he died. He used to play in what was called an "oom-pah" band every Sunday at a park in Union, New Joisey. My German grandmother was a wonderful cook, too, probably the best I've ever known! She cooked Thanksgiving dinner every year and, boy, did I ever look forward to that!!
