Re: Refreshed

I can relate some to your story Chris about your grandparents. My grandmother lost her husband of 65 years several years ago, and she has gone down hill so fast since then. It is hard to watch. He was her world and now she lives all alone out in the country by herself and hardly sees no one, except for when we can get up there to see her. We've tried to get her to move where we live, but she doesn't want to leave the house they had together. She about went crazy one time because we got her a new tv, and she couldn't bare to let the old one go, because that was their tv, even though it was barely working. Letting go of that tv, would be like letting part of her memories of my grandfather go. People talk about marriages being unhappy, but some marriages are what keep some people wanting to live. I guess that's rare though in these times.
