Hi Insight, I think its probably impossible to know where everything you ingest comes from, labeling laws being what they are in a lot of countries. All we can do is the best we can. I know, for example, if the food I'm eating was grown in Australia, it is highly likely to be deficient in selenium, copper,
Iodine and a couple of other minerals. I try and eat food from countries that have lower levels of pesticide use, and pollution. In Australia the labeling laws are pretty strict so we know the country of origin of the food we buy.
The best way to know whats in your food is to grow your own, its great exercise, fun, and you get good organic food at the end of it.
I'm still learning everyday, I like to think of each new piece of knowledge as a present I get to keep, and my brain as a treasure chest for keeping all these beautiful bits of information in :)
