I live near a salt lake that is primarily mag chloride, the mud around the lake is an oily sticky mag chloride saturated goop, a sample in a gas chromatograph shows lots of other trace minerals as well, I collect this goop, strain to remove gross particulates and use the resulting liquid as a topical rub. The local wildlife just eats the mud.

lol ya can't get much cheaper than free :)
