Re: 62 Days Fasted on Sugar Free Cherry Limeade
RD, in my view,
probably fine for when you are eating, however,
stevia (like anything that is isolated and potentized)
is becoming a new problem as I see it, in that it likely unbalances the body in some way. I always wonder why a person craves the sweetness? In other words, why take a
Sugar substitute that is "1000 times sweeter than sugar", as I recall is said of stevia, when instead you could take a spoonful of real food in the form of complexed minerals that the body can actual utilize? Like say, a lemonade made with real lemon and blackstrap molasses. There is something almost magic in the combination in terms that cannot be reduced to the names o number of minerals, or the calorie count.
Have you ever tasted a live stevia leaf? I once had a plant, because I was curious about this sweetness factor. If you try to chew a single leaf it's almost too much. It was for me. One leaf sliced very thin, into chiffonade can be added to a fruit salad, but the reason it might be good there is that it is a whole food, that comes with chlorofyll as well, and who knows what else-->>I am not waiting on
Science to enumerate the parts that make up the whole of something as miraculous as a simple leaf.

please excuse any spelling errors..
