Re: Kudos To Hveragerthi
I have to agree with much of the way you present your facts, and it is obvious you have background in endocrinology.
That is my next move, for academic studies.
My area of interest is parasitology\immunology. I find many people with microbial problems.
I myself, have many of the classic symptoms that are discussed on this board, and worked many years towards finding a diagnosis.
What I found was impressive, and proves there are many "unknown" microbial
parasites that can cause systemic disruptions of the immune system. Some are indeed, very interesting.
But it is difficult sometimes, to tell if a problem with hormonal imbalances "allow" certain microbial forms to become opportunistic.
It's a chicken or the egg thing.
So, information on correcting the overall chemistry of the body is a major factor towards restoring ones health. If a microbial element is involved however, it could be a futile attempt.
That is why symptomology must be examined carefully before tests are run---to save time, and money.
You are very helpful with this area [symptomology] as it applies to hormonal imbalances.
