Re: Emotional freedom
Hi Sara. To be honest I thing the repressed memories are the emotional baggage. If you look into the background of William Paul Young, he spent many years avoiding repressed memories, and then they overwhelmed him and he nearly killed himself. Later he confronted them, but he got a lot of support. He talks here

- you can wind on to pass the Christianity stuff, I hope that doesn't offend you (actually his views usually offend devout Christians so that can't be bad, ha ha!). He sees it in terms of that because of his background, he had no control over the way he as raised, nor did he choose his parents. Now he's the most relaxed person you could possibly hope to meet.
Easy for me to say I know, because I am not the one who has to deal with it. But the reason he wrote the book was so his kids would not have to go through what he had to, so he's a better guide than me. He calls the place you want to hide all that bad stuff and not face up to it "The Shack".
Regarding others, take no notice. They have different views to you. Nothing said here by others has altered my opinion of you.
