You mentioned that your blood pressure was in the low 40's. Can you be more specific? There are 2 readings ... systolic and diastolic (i.e. 120/80). Low blood pressure can be dangerous when prolonged, resulting in insufficient blood flow to essential organs. Temporary fluctuations can cause dizziness, fainting or weakness but are not an indication of imminent death. However, it is probably an indication that the fast should be ended if there is not appropriate medical supervision.
