Re: I disagree
Then we may have to agree to disagree. Or perhaps not.
Actually, I agree with just about everything you said, but would differ in that while people MAY take years to cure their guts and establish a proper balance, in most instances they should not have to take years to substantially heal their guts and substantially reestablish a good intestinal flora balance. I think you kind of implied that yourself. I will concede that it might take years to completely repair damage to the villi, but in most instances significant improvement should be seen in months and a healthy balance of intestinal flora should be acchievable in only months too.
At any rate I do not think there is any danger of trying a few weeks of colloidal silver (with the probiotic and prebiotic supplementation) and there could well be considerable benefit beyond simply eliminating the bad bacteria. Remember, one thing silver does is repair and regenerate tissue.
I also agree that long term use of large quantities of colloidal silver or anything else that would continually wipe out the beneficial bacteria they are trying to establish would not be a good idea. But that is not what I am talking about. What I am talking about is a fairly short term program to wipe out the good bacteria accompanied by supplementation with probiotics and prebiotics so that bad bacteria does not have a chance to re-establish itself and then continuing to supplement with pro and prebiotics and follow a course of action such as you outline.
