Gentian violet is probably safest for topical use and thrush

The safest bet is probably to limit gentian violet to external use and topical use of any thrush you may have in your mouth from candida.  There are some references in PubMed to the use of internal gential violet but I am unable to access any details of any of the studies or papers.

Personally, I prefer a product called OxyGen for providing internal oxygen.  I am not sure if it would provide the same fungal killing effect as H202, but each dose (it comes in both liquid and capsule forms) provides the equivalent amount of oxygen as does 6 drops of food grade H2O2 without the concerns of using H2O2 internally.  I take it frequently.

The enteric coated probiotics are the way to go.  Otherwise one should use prebiotics to insure the delivery of enough beneficial flora to the gut.

Have you tried the bentonite clay?  Do you take lots of coconut oil?

Tony
