TizMe...on my way to work...
...So, I can't be long at posting, which I love, too...
I haven't given your story about Safeway its proper due. That's priceless!
And, you are so smart to discover, "OH NO YOU DON'T!" all by yourself.
Most folks don't know they can do that.
And, to MAKE IT to the bathroom on time is wonderful!
Giving blood one day, when they check your blood pressure, beforehand, mine, as usual, was borderline high...right at the highest level where they will accept your blood. The number 104 was in there somewhere.
The senior nurse told me, "I'm going to teach you biofeedback."
For some reason, when she told me to relax, I slumped in my chair, head resting against the wall.
Surprised, she said that was good, dimmed the lights, and left the little room closing the door behind her.
I found myself not minding if I fell asleep.
Soon she came back in and tested again. (Mentally I stayed in the same relaxed state, as best I could.)
My blood pressure had dropped 14 points!
And, I hadn't realized that I had been tense at all...I had donated blood several times before.
We have far more talents than we are aware of.
Many don't know they CAN influence their own thoughts...let alone the bodily functions.
That's why I TOOK THE VOW...

...Though I must admit I am reframing the statement to take out the negative word. I am more fond of stating what I am FOR, rather than what I am 'against'...just in case.
Peacefulness is a lovely state of mind. Now I am looking askance at my love of murder mysteries.
Sigh.
Love you guys.
