I'm going to try and explain my feelings on the matter as concise and to the point as I can. I agree with with some of what all of you have said.

I have a tendency to look at something from as many points of view as I can before I come to a decision that is right for me. I told Sacristia not to compare herself with Lauray and I meant that, I don't think reading her posts were dangerous for someone looking at fasting like Lauray's were.

My personal view is that if someone posts all the time about all the negative things going on in their lives that has nothing to do with fasting whether it's about a boyfriend or anything else, I think they run the risk of people not reading their posts in the future. The less people you have reading your posts the less advice you get if a potentially dangerous detox situation arises. It's kind of like the boy who cried wolf. When a person vents all of their emotional feelings in the majority of their posts, then one day when they really need advice as to a problem that has arisen, the ones with the most experience with fasting might not have read the post because of all the emotional issues, therefore, the poster might not get the answer they need.

On the other hand, some people find these types of posts interesting and say so. Those that don't like those kinds of posts and say so also run the risk of having their future posts being ignored due to the fact they didn't support the emotional one. So, I guess the bottom line is what is a person supposed to do? I don't know.

I do think that unless this issue is cleared up we will see it happen again and again. I know that for me, at the risk of being ridiculed I think the post we are discussing was more journaling feelings than posting about fasting. I felt at a loss as to how to help her however, I don't want to hurt her either.

So in a case like this I don't know what's right and what's wrong, I can see it from many different angles.
