Re: Please don't...
I'm currently fighting for it now, the encouragement I've received here has helped a lot. At this point (today) the throat irritation is a bit less, but my stomach gurgles. It almost feels like gas/bubbles are being expelled and it's very audible. When the gurgling/bubbling starts it's not painful and I don't have any chest/stomach pain while it's happening.
I do notice that I am getting post-nasal drip and that the drip is very strange. I'll do that "back of throat sucking muscle motion" to clear the drip and sometimes orange, yes, orangish pieces of thick phlegm will come out. It's not usually a huge amount, but I notice if I break this phlegm up it smells pretty bad.
My saliva smells bad (to me at least) as well and so does the coating on my tongue. It has a bacteria/infectious smell, kind of like something isn't right.
Atm I'm doing the anti-fungal/anti-biotics, Candidase, and an asian herbal remedy called Long Dan Xie Gan Wan. It's a 9 herb compilation that's taken 3x a day at 5 beads at a time. My acupuncturist said it's to lessen the "damp heat" that she says my body is experiencing (it's what they call this problem in traditional chinese medicine I think).
My acupuncturist is very intuitive and knows her stuff. She was born in China and lived there for over 40 years. At first she was confident it was my "liver and spleen attacking my stomach with fire", which basically means my liver was acting up and was damaged enough to cause digestive trouble but not enough to show up on a medical x-ray. Sort of like a "functionally damaged liver".
She had me do diet changes as well and various herbs. But now with my symptoms, even she is sort of baffled at this point.
As it stands, the most annoying symptoms that are affecting me the most seems to be the throat irritation/tickle and the shortness of breath sensations as well as the lump/swallowing difficulty sensations. I can deal with the whole gas/gurgling, and fatigue symptoms and everything else. I just want to get these gone, but the all seem inter-related.
