Re: Stevia

If it is in a jar, it is packaged.
What Dr. Mercola says about Stevia: "Stevia is a non-caloric herb native to Paraguay that has been used as a sweetener for over 1,500 years in South America. If anyone is doubting its safety, I would encourage them to consider that fact; it is a MAJOR clue that stevia is safe."
Additionally, Dr. Mercola Says: "What is ironic, of course, is that while the FDA is scrutinizing this naturally sweet herb, they maintain a historically generous attitude toward synthetic chemical sweeteners like
Aspartame and sucralose."
>- Sacarrin has been around for years and Budwig would of known of sweetners and she emphasized a wholesome diet.
Saccharin is not in any way related to Stevia. Saccharin is a benezene based artificial sweetener. Stevia is NATURAL.
>- you would of just said, it is your choice and let it go there.
Yes, that is and can be your choice, my argumentation is because you are pushing it on every one else basd on false / unproven assumptions.
>- If you parazapper have cancer than I wish you luck and hope you get well but if you don't than I hope you would research the diet and understand the reasoning behind what she states.
Yes, I have has minor cancer, yes, I have researched her diet and others since I am writing a book about cancer diets. Yes, I do part of Budwig, not all. I also use other extracts from natural substances such as Curcumin, Capsacin, Flax Seed Oil, Fish Oils, CoQ10, and Cinnamon.
>- Now if you are going to do all this why put junk in your system and I mean junk.
I agree, and Stevia is not junk. There is a distinct effort underway to make it appear as such, but it is not. Or perhaps you are saying that the natives of Brazil who have used stevia for 1500 years are lacking in sensibility?
>- Dr. Budwig stressed food herbs,
Alas and alak, That IS what Stevia IS!!!!
As a final note, Dr. Mercola states after (exclude all sweeteners if you have insulin issues): "But for everyone else, if you are going to sweeten your foods and beverages anyway, I strongly encourage you to consider using stevia."
