Naturally grown organic honey that has not been refined or processed would be fine to use and could even be helpful, but I would agree that a better choice would be organic fruits and blueberries would definitely be a good one.
Stevia is also a very good healthy choice, although many find it's taste and aftertaste unappealing.

Good points. I have said time and again that I like Budwig. I have it listed in my protocol and have a chapter devoted to it in my book. However, I think there are two points to be made. First of all, the entire Budwig protocol is not the end all when it comes to treating cancer. It is a very good protocol and more likely it has succeeded because it got a great many things right - but that does not mean it got everything right.
Far too many people are too zealous to the point of excluding other cancer fighting and immune boosting items that could increase their chances of beating cancer and keeping it at bay. I have a number of people in my Yahoo health group (oleandersoup) who found that Budwig was not enough and the anti-cancer protocol I suggest which has oleander as a centerpiece along with many other elements has succeeded where Budwig has failed. I have never yet heard of Budwig succeeding when oleander has failed - but then oleander very seldom fails.
