Why so much anger while cleansing?

I started a Bowel Cleanse a little over 2 weeks ago and just added in a parasite cleanse 5 days ago, so doing both at the same time now. I don't understand why I started getting so angry a couple of days ago. My temper is out of control. I snap at everyone. My shoulders and lower back are in a lot of pain too. I have a huge outbreak of fever blisters on my upper lip, the second batch in 2 weeks. I have very little energy too, although I have had low energy for some months now. I can't concentrate. I tried to meditate this morning but my mind just races. Lots of annoying things, huh? But I am most concerned about all of this anger. I throw things sometimes too. Could this be detox symptoms? Could my body be going thru stress as it detoxes? I should mention that I am a 55 year old woman who has never taken care of herself. I am overweight, have high blood pressure, suffer from Depression and GERD (acid reflux) and sleep apnea. I had total right knee replacement in March of this year also. BTW, I am using dial-up on my computer because I can't afford fast speed internet, so I am getting really angry with the slowness of all of this too.Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Anyway, because of all of my health issues, I decided to do something about it. This site can be overwhelming, so I decided to start with the basics and do the colon and parasite cleanse first. That is, if I can just get thru this. I am afraid I will say or do something really stupid that I will regret. Any suggestions? I don't want to give up on my health.
