I have learned that any oil that smells or tastes bitter is rancid. Since with linseed oil (for painting) there is no concern whether it is rancid or not, hence there is a strong smell. Only rancid oil would have that strong smell. I am going to give it another go and be sure that I get refrigerated oil and see if that helps. I have studied the Budwig protocol and it does appear to be a good one. Whether I do the entire protocol or not, I am defintely adding flaxseed oil back in. Thanks. Tweet
