Sometimes we are helpless to have things the way we would have them

Sometimes there is a lesson that we do not want
Sometimes there are several lessons we do not want

Sometimes we do not deserve to have this lesson
It comes anyway

It becomes useful when we learn something from it
Not necessarily how to protect ourselves
But that too
But how the event has presented an unintended gift
Maybe how to accept
