It's always the essence of that desire

Yes, I love that as well. It's true to say that the outer manifestations are often just a physical form of the *essence* of what we desire ..

for example, someone may desire great wealth, but what is the *Essence* of that desire? worthiness? deservedness? confidence? Approval? Freedom?

Questions I tend to ask myself when I *think* I want something (in form) .. is Why do I want that? What would it give me?

If I keep asking those questions over and over .. I eventually get to the place where I say .. Oh! I already have that!! :-)
