Re: 5,000 IU a day of Vitamin D - too much?

Hello plzchuckle,
Contrary to what you have said, there is only one Vitamin that is manufactured by the body..................
Vitamin D: which is actually a hormone precursor, but manufactured by the body as a result of the action of sunlight on the skin. There are also some food sources such as Oily Fish.

Humans had the ability to produce their own Vitamin C, along with most other animals, but we lost this ability (along with Guinea Pigs) in the eons of time. The only source is now dietary or supplementation.

All other vitamins are needed from dietary sources.

Regards

Chrisb1.
